As an important international hub port in East China, Nansha Port plays a crucial role in the storage and transportation of bulk and dangerous goods. To comprehensively enhance the intrinsic safety level of the port, our company has undertaken the systematic upgrade project of explosion-proof products at Nansha Port Terminal, and has implemented precise measures to create a smart and safe port area.
For key areas such as the oil and gas storage tank area and dangerous goods loading and unloading area at the dock, our company adopts Exd IIB T4 explosion-proof equipment certified by the national explosion-proof certification, covering three major modules: explosion-proof lighting system, intelligent monitoring device, and electrical isolation equipment. The independently developed explosion-proof distribution box adopts a double-layer sealed structure, which improves corrosion resistance by 40%; The AI explosion-proof monitoring system is equipped with an intelligent temperature sensing warning module to achieve 24/7 dynamic monitoring. All devices have passed ISO80079 explosion-proof system certification and can withstand the test of level 9 strong winds and high salt spray environment.
The project team relies on 20 years of experience in explosion-proof engineering, customizes zoning prevention and control plans based on dock operation scenarios, and synchronously establishes a digital operation and maintenance platform. After the project is put into use, the safety level of the dangerous area at the port has reached the highest standard of GB50058, and the annual accident risk rate has decreased by 80%, laying a solid foundation for the intelligent transformation of the port. This not only demonstrates our technical strength in the field of special industrial safety, but also provides an industry benchmark case for promoting the safety upgrading of the "the Belt and Road" hub port.
